Jessica Connors

Jessica fell in love with weddings after experiencing her own in 2000. She and her husband had such a perfect, memorable day due to her careful planning and attention to detail. Jessica feels every bride and groom deserve to have that same feeling about their wedding day. Her background in theater and communication also provided her with the skills needed to execute a flawless wedding. Jessica holds a degree in theater arts and her past experience involved significant directing and stage managing. She found the same elements used in putting together a theater production (organization, creativity, budgeting, timing) can be used as a fresh approach to planning a wedding. In addition to wedding coordination, Jessica worked in the wedding industry for over two years at two of Chicago's leading bridal boutiques selling bridal gowns and bridesmaids dresses. Her assistance with the weddings of friends and family members led her to partner with Jen to form everafter. Jessica is a member of the Association of Bridal Consultants, demonstrating her professionalism and business ethics, but it is her passion and the belief that you deserve the day of your dreams that really drives her.

Jen Polkow

Jen has been passionate about event planning for as long as she can remember. With a background in communications and public relations, Jen’s past experience includes executing major alumni and fundraising events at a state university and most recently serving as the event planner for a suburban hospital. In this role she plans numerous special events ranging from small receptions and a 5K race to the annual gala fundraiser that attracts 500 hospital supporters. After planning a 25th anniversary celebration for her parents and assisting with the weddings of many friends, Jen realized her passion for wedding planning and formed everafter with Jessica. She has been planning weddings in the Chicagoland area and beyond. Her creativity, organization and communication skills are the foundation for helping you create the wedding you have been dreaming.
